Vaginal yeast infections are most commonly caused by Candida albicans. Candida is a group of yeast that is notorious for infecting the skin. Vaginal candidiasis is the yeast infection of the vagina. This type infection can occur in almost any location of the female reproductive system.

 Our main focus will be on the symptoms, when to call a doctor, diagnosis, treatments, preventions, complications, and the statistics of vaginal yeast infections.
